An essential for any kitchen is a set of cake tins. This set of three are the "springform" type with loose base and sprung rim. When the stainless steel clip is shut, the case is held securely in place, when the clip is opened, the rim springs open, releasing the base and allowing for easy removal of the cake. Each tin is approximately 7cm deep, and the three diameters are 22cm, 24cm and 26cm. Springform cake tins can be used for all sorts of baking, but they are particularly useful for cheesecakes and other delicate items where the look may be spoiled if the tin is slid off and drags against the sides, as with conventional loose base cake tins. Each piece in this set is finished with a non-stick coating for easy release and cleaning. The removable bases also have a waffled design to help minimise sticking. As with all cake tins, greasing before use is recommended.
