This GM pump to OEM Mustang II/Pinto rack & pinion power steering hose assembly is an inexpensive alternative to the more costly stainless steel braided hose kits. - Note:This hose kit is(NOT)applicable to the Ford Thunderbird style reproduction steering racks that are sourced or provided by Speedway Motors for the Mustang II front end application. - If you have sourced or obtained your Thunderbird style Mustang II rack & pinion for your Mustang II front end build from Speedway Motors, this hose kit is(NOT) applicable and should not be purchased. For that application, please consider hose kit #s910-32535or617-4835when utilizing the Speedway Motors sourced Ford Thunderbird style reproduction rack & pinion for your Mustang II front end set up. - This hose kit will work with the suggested power steering pump 910-32908-BLK. When using an early GM pump with your OEM 1974-78 Mustang II/ 1974-80 Pinto power rack, you will also need flow reducer valve 910-32918. This valve reduces the fluid flow from three gallons-per-minute to two gallons-per-minute, which cures problems of twitchy steering when these components are used together.
