This portable charger operates with digital timing and covers up to 10 miles in coverage. It has a 3 position switch for maximum performance: battery saver mode, maximum output and off. Low impedance design utilizes special circuitry to maintain high energy levels on the fence. This works ideally for all animals including predators where heavy weed conditions exist. It has 3 battery options: 4 D-cell flashlight batteries, and 6 volt, or 12 volt external batteries. Uses 0.28 stored joules of power with a 0.25 joule output at 400 ohms. Lamp flashes when operating. Housed in a weather resistant and nonconductive cabinet. Complete with built-in ground rod strap and fence wire strap. Battery not included.
